Righteous is redefining business.

Our environmental commitment.

Sure, it's easier to send it to the landfill, dump it down the drain and pay less for things, but the Righteous team knows that every move we make has an impact on our community and environment. When it comes to how we handle sustainability, decision making is easy: Every move matters. We can make a difference in the world by doing the right thing. We call it putting our money where our mouth is.

Righteous is proud to be a Certified B Corporation. What does that mean? To use business as a force for good.

Through rigorous certification by the nonprofit B Lab, Certified B Corporations are for-profit companies who meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency in the world. By balancing purpose and profit, B Corps use the power of markets to find opportunities to solve social and environmental problems.

Righteous has always operated like a B Corp, long before it was ever certified as one. This helped uncover some of the “why” for going through the arduous process of certification. By becoming certified, it was our way of sharing with the community and encouraging other businesses to adopt similar practices and standards in the work they do. Why? Because doing it together makes a difference.

Why plastic?

We use the most recyclable packaging we could find.

The PET level 1 and 2 plastics used for our pints and lids are recyclable for 99% of North American households.

Other “paper” cartons are actually made of laminated fibre board and polyethylene plastic, which cannot be recycled. They are waste and end up in the landfill.

Our transparent pint tub showcases our product so you know what’s inside, and the screw top lid makes them perfect for reusing and upcycling!
